The 2022 Hyundai Kona N is a brand-new entry into the Hyundai N model family and will be the first SUV to enter the N lineup. The base Kona was an incredibly solid SUV that features versatile performance abilities, but the N model lineup adds enhanced horsepower and sporty design elements. The N-design features, driving adjustments, and upgraded technology show why the Kona N is such a hyped vehicle.
Kona N Performance Highlights
With the Kona N being a part of the N model family, you can use a lot of power inside the sporty SUV. Boasting a large list of unique performance features compared to the regular Kona model, starting with its powertrain option, a 2.0-liter Turbo 4-cylinder that makes 280 horsepower. Teamed with an 8-speed Wet DCT transmission, it is faster than the fastest standard Kona models by quite a bit.
Design
The Hyundai Kona N also experiences design upgrades adding a lot of flashy features all over the exterior. The N-Design cabin deploys N-Design Sport Seats, leather-wrapped paddle shifters with blue accented stitching, and leather-wrapped shift knobs. The Kona N interior features the leather-bolstered sport seats to have that racetrack sensation to an SUV, offering buyers quite an exhilarating unique experience.
Tech Features
While the N performing improvements may not specifically impact the tech inside of the Hyundai Kona N, it certainly gets its own updates. I had very specific wants for this new car. Went to several dealers. First time to ever have a lady salesperson in auto sales. She listened to the specified details I wanted in a car. Pulled 2 cars for me to test drive, gave me a very fair offer on the one I liked and honored it when I came back the next day. She spent at least 20 minutes after the sale & giving me the keys to ensure I knew about special features and little details. Finance man was great, didn't try to add things I didn't need.
The Bob Howard Hyundai dealership has a brand new location but we have been customers since buying our 2013 Hyundai Accent. It was clean, chic, and still comfortable. I worked with Marley today for a bit of warranty work. I was quickly greeted and checked in. The new building is wonderful, and the waiting area is pristine. Marley and her team had me out in about an hour- even did a full courtesy inspection of the entire vehicle.
