Hyundai SmartSense is a cutting-edge driver assist system, created to provide drivers with adaptive safety technologies. From emergency braking to prevent accidents to smart technologies that detect cars, trucks, or SUVs in your blind spot, the SmartSense system continuously checks the surrounding environment to identify any possible hazards while driving.
Hyundai Smart Cruise Control
Smart Cruise Control is an advanced cruise control system that immediately adjusts the car’s speed to maintain a safe distance from cars on the roads. The system takes advantage of automatic braking or acceleration to maintain a safe speed and distance. Drivers have the option to adjust the space between their car by pressing the distance button on the steering wheel.
Blindspot Monitor
This available safety tech spots vehicles in your blind spot when turn signals are used. The side-view mirror has cameras that show a video feed of the Palisade’s blind spots on the digital instrument panel cluster. Upon identifying a car, truck, or SUV in the blindspot, the display activates both a visual warning signal and an acoustic alert to keep the driver notified of the surrounding traffic circumstances.
